Hi they call me Texan Gal and I love to dance. I joined 24hr fitness in January 2009 because I wanted to get fit and although my intentions were good it was difficult to stay motivated. That all changed when I took my first Afro-Belly Boogie class in February 2009. I was hooked. I lost pounds and inches while having fun and joined Angel's Afro-Belly Boogie Dance Troupe to learn more about this new dance form. I just can't get enough of it so I decided to become certified. I want to share this passion with everyone. I can't wait to pay forward what Afro-Belly Boogie has done for me. I look forward to seeing you in class and taking our journey toward fitness together. After my first Afro-Belly Boogie class, I was immediately
hooked. Fitness has always been a part of my life. I was a member of the crew
team in college and continued to run until I had my twins and a third child.
Once I started participating in the Afro-Belly Boogie Cardio classes I was much
more motivated to exercise and eat healthy. I look forward to sharing the
excitement of the Afro-Belly Boogie fitness classes and helping others
experience positive changes from an extremely fun, full-body workout.

I always have great passion for dancing and working out. I have been a practicing fitness instructor since 2005. Used to teach 8 classes a week before my baby girl was born. I tried Afro-Belly Boogie only once and I totally fall in love with it. I would love to share this new program with everyone!

Pattie feels wonderfully blessed to have shared her love for
dance and yoga for a total of over ten years. She continues to teach, learn, and
practice yoga, mat pilates, classical ballet, and Polynesian hula
dance. She is now thrilled to
be teaching Afro-Belly Boogie*
Pattie's innate love for grace and expression through movement led her to excel in ballet at a young age. She began performing for the Utah Ballet company and teaching at the age of 16. Pattie was a ballet major of fine arts at the University of Utah, and she now delights in teaching ballet of all levels and age groups.
Curiosity for yoga began in 2003, after which she was immediately drawn to the discipline and philosophy of yoga. Many years of practice brought her to a realization of peace, purpose, and joyful gratitude.
Pattie began taking Afro-Belly Boogie with it's creator at 24 Hour Fitness and fell in love! Naturally, she was drawn to the fun, sexy, and freeing aspects, as well as the intelligence of this powerful workout..

The first Afro-Belly Boogie class she took with Angel got her addicted
to this fitness workout since it uses dance moves for a great
high-energy Cardio workout. Raz is very passionate about dancing. She
grew up in India and has been practicing Indian classical dancing from
the age of 3. She has also developed an avid interest for all kinds of
dance
forms including Bollywood, Bhangra, Latin, Belly dance, and several
other dance forms. Her current pursuit is belly dance. She is an
engineer holding a masters degree in Computer Networking from North
Carolina State University. Raz is very excited to teach Angel's
Afro-Belly Boogie workout .
