Instructor Achievement levels:
Brown Belt ~ Apprentice. This instructor has successfully
completed the minimum requirements to facilitate the format certified
in. This individual may or may not be facilitating classes;
Red
Belt ~ Novice. This instructor demonstrates some proficiency in the
format. It is this level that recognizes instructors who have not just
committed to Afro belly boogie but have demonstrated their commitment in
improving their technique, professionalism and presentation.
Orange Belt ~ Presenter. The entry way into the high end instructor, where the instructors truly begin the master the skills and techniques developed in Afro belly boogie, have the dedication to grow with Afro belly boogie and are driven to become proficient as an Afro belly boogie instructor.
Yellow Belt ~ Intermediate, yellow. The higher levels of the
program would take instructor from level IV level VII. Advanced
instructor professionalism and technique are critical. It is at this
level that the instructors are highlighted as premier instructors and
that the program itself is being delivered and energy level and a target
fitness level is up to par with the standards set by the founder of Afro
belly boogie. Instructors wishing to achieve level IV will have to
engage in additional training yet to be determined;
Green Belt ~ Advanced. This instructor has achieved mastery and proficiency specifically the format. Presentation, interpretation and facilitation are the keys to evaluating this level. Class video reviews are a part of moving into this instructor level. This instructor level is also able to host “dance party” events.

Afro-Belly Boogie® Cardio Dance format that is the foundation of the Afro-Belly Boogie® fitness programs. This workout combines high-energy conditioning and rhythmic movements of African dance with the sensuous muscle isolations of Belly Dance to create a low impact, spirit boosting, high cardio workout. The workout features rhythms and sounds from Africa, Caribbean, Middle East and even current club beats. You’ll have fun while you burn calories, tone your core and strengthen your upper and lower body all while dancing to the beat.
Afro-Belly Boogie® Sensuous Moves. Belly dance focused, this dance format brings the sensuous and calorie burning aspects of belly dance home. Feel good while moving your body to the sensuous rhythms of the Middle East.
Afro-Belly Boogie® Boogie Down! The Afro-Belly Boogie® modified hip-hop program focused on the Boogie! Club inspired dance moves with world dance influence done to high-energy music. This is a fun cardio intense segment that delivers a solid sweat and calorie burn while you grove and shake it like you’re in the club.
Afro-Belly Boogie® Dancer’s Stretch and Tone. This Mind/Body workout uses movements and technologies inspired by ballet, jazz and other dance forms. It fuses dance exercises to sculpt, tone and condition the body. Not a dancer? No worries. This easy-to-follow format is fun that delivers!
Afro-Belly Boogie® Senior Boogie Boots! A fun and energized version of the cardio dance workout targeting senior citizens. Shake your boogie boots to fun world music, old school and classics all while getting funky and saucy to the Afro-Belly Boogie® beat!
Afro-Belly Boogie® Junior Boogie Boots! A modified version of Boogie Down that targets the youth audience; specifically seven to twelve years old. A fun workout that engages them in dance, play, participation and education. A great workout that focuses on supporting our youth’s engagement in fitness.
Afro-Belly Boogie® Full And Beautiful. Modified to meet the needs of the full figured population. This workout gives a solid workout focusing on strengthening the body, building stamina and building confidence while providing a fun and fabulous workout!
Afro-Belly Boogie® Boot Camp– a high-energy weight toning workout using the key elements of Afro-Belly Boogie® in a boot camp environment. Focus, strengthen and tone!
Afro-Belly Boogie® Target Training – a workout program focused on targeting specific areas of the body, upper body, lower body, back, abs, etc..
Afro-Belly Boogie® Abs. The key to a healthy and strong body is a healthy and strong core. This workout is a 15 minute abdominal workout that brings the heat to the core!
