Welcome to Afro-Belly Boogie®.
My name is Angel and I’m the creator of Afro-Belly Boogie®, a dance fitness program that is currently being offered in a number of Bay Area health clubs including several 24‑Hour Fitness facilities.
My road here has been filled with many of the same personal and professional challenges that so many people now face every day. Living a stress-filled lifestyle combined with unhealthy eating habits, I found myself staring down a life path teeming with several unpleasant possibilities. I was overweight by well over 100 pounds and on the verge of numerous weight-related health issues.

Afro-Belly Boogie® evolved as a result of my need to address those issues. It’s an electric dance workout that has given me more energy, a stronger body, increased confidence and amazing weight-loss results. Combining high energy African dance moves with the toning and sultry movements of Belly Dance, Afro-Belly Boogie® will exercise you from head to toe, giving you immediately measurable results. I’ve seen these results in many of my clients within the first three workouts.
I am a firm believer that everyone has a purpose and should be able to live their lives in joy and pursuit of that purpose. That includes being healthy and happy with who you are both inside and out. I would love to share this passion of fitness through dance with you!

great workout! Angel continues to develop workouts to address the needs of her
client community. through a high energy dance workout!
She has developed her workout specifically to focus on target areas most of us
struggle with; lower body, abdominal core, chest and upper back, all while
delivering a high degree of aerobic activity. She currently offers a
variety of workouts, each one designed to resolve your specific fitness needs.

Afro-Belly Boogie® Cardio Dance will make you sweat! A high energy, workout combining African dance movements with the toning and sultry moves of belly dance, Afro-Belly Boogie will exercise you from head to toe! [60 minutes]
Afro-Belly Boogie® - Boot Camp. A workout combining fun dance moves, strength training and conditioning to maximize toning and build strength throughout your full body's system! (45 minutes).
Afro-Belly Boogie® Core Focus. A workout of dance movements, strength training and conditioning that focuses on the abdominal core. (30 minutes).
Afro-Belly Boogie® Bottom, Thighs and Legs to dance for. Build the lean, shapely bottom, thighs and legs of a dancer through focused toning exercises and dance movements. (30 – 45 minutes).
